Pea's Dance solo.. and update!
So, I am no longer a stay at home mommy, as I have started working full-time last Friday! Hooray! Although, I will not have much time for my babies, which believe me.. I cried A LOT.. nothing means more to me, than seeing my babies grow up. I don't like missing a THING. And I love being the centre of attention when it comes to both my daughters eyes.. but, I do need to help my hubby out, so a mommy's gotta' do, what a mommy's gotta do. It's taking too long to get to where we'd like to be.. and when the opportunity came up, and I got a job offer.. I didn't hesitate to go and take it. Too many signs were leading up to that moment. Anyhow! Here is today's dance solo, featuring..my one and only.. SWEET PEA! <3

Home of the cold..
Had an extremely busy weekend. We didn't go out Friday night, we stayed in, ate some home made Taco fries (only thing we cheated on, were the frozen McCain Fries)..tried my own taco spice mix..and it tasted really good! We also watched the hockey game..which they sadly lost. Saturday morning, my husband dropped Pea and I off at her dance class, and he dropped Hailey off at her Nana & Papa's and then he dropped our car off at a dealership to get work done onto it. Pea did SO good at dance, and she did so much more, compared to her previous classes. She at first wasn't in the mood to participate..just walking around following the teachers, then got really into it, 15 minutes later.
After dance class, we then waited for her daddy & Papa to come pick us up, where we afterwards went to get Hailey, and leave Pea at Nana & Papa's for a sleepover. We waited around there for our car to finish up, and then we dropped Hailey off at her Lolo & Lola's for a sleepover as well. We then rushed home to get ready to go watch the Bomber game. Which..they sadly lost. Was a really close game too, so glad we picked that game to watch.
After the Bomber game, we rushed home again to get ready for a Halloween Social..

After the Bomber game, we rushed home again to get ready for a Halloween Social..
Hubby was Batman, and I was Harley Quinn! I had a wardrobe malfunction, which lucky for me, happened at home.. the issue I had with my costume was that the top fit perfectly..but the bottoms weren't stretchy, so they were a tad tight around my booty. So when I was adjusting my pants, the belt loop ripped right off..which I guess was I sign that I shouldn't be wearing it. Plus, anytime I walked, or sat down, the elastic would just slide right down my booty. I ended up wearing a pair of black leggings, and just wore the velcro belt sitting on my hips. It turned out okay anyhow. My hubby doesn't "act" excited, I knew he was, but a random girl who happened to be dressed as cat woman had her mom as if she could take a picture of the two of them..which happened while I was in the bathroom. There were SO many really great costumes at this social, so I'm glad we made the effort to dress up!
Yesterday, we ended up waking up early (looks like we are programmed that way, whether the kids are home or not), and did what we needed at home, and rushed over to Denny's for breakfast..since I was STARVING!
I had their Holiday Skillet..which was SO filling..
Hubby had his usual breakfast.. eggs, ham, sausage, shredded hash browns, pancakes AND toast.. he ate it all..
After that, we picked up Pea, and went over to my parents house for the day. Ate and watch football and the hockey game again.. which they WON!! It was pretty exciting..woot!
Today, we all woke up with colds, and Pea has it THE worst..so I have a really good feeling I won't have any time on my plate to get any workouts in.. need to be there for my babies, when they need me..I feel so bad for them. These are the times where I wish I could just take the pain away from them..

Dance class with just mama!
So the girls and I are sitting outside of daddy's Union office..I think its so cool that you can even blog on your phone using their app..makes it easy to blog instant thoughts ;-)
So my hubby got picked up by his dad, so I had mommy duty of getting the girls up and ready and drive Pea to dance. And honestly, everything went smoothly.. I don't know why I ever worry about doing things on my own. I used to be so independent before I started dating Jesse..I've gotten so used to leaning in him.
During dance, Hailey did VERY well..I mean, I did pack a good amount of snacks, that literally lasted her the entire 45 minutes. For some reason, the girls go-to feeling when they're bored..is that they're hungry. I try as much as I can, to avoid giving the girls my phone when they're bored. I'm not judging anyone that does, don't get me wrong..but at time when I dont have a phone available..they get really upset. Same thing with snacks! If I don't have snacks..they get upset. So in a way, its a lose-lose situation if I'm not prepared.
Anyhow, the husband should be out soon :)
Here are a few pictures..
Teaching the girls how to sit properly..
Pea's up!
Spinning in the hoop..
Jump up!
Time to line up..
Here's a video of her solo..
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!!

Pea's 4th day in Dance!
Well! Today was Pea's dance class again, this morning.. she did great. Although, she wasn't really in a good mood..she looked pretty tired, and her eczema is starting to come back..that time of the year again.
Anyhow, regardless of that, she seemed to have forgotten all about it as soon as she started. She's warming up to her classmates and teachers a lot more..still shy, and still hard on herself if she doesn't know what to do, or if she messed up..but she's a trooper!
As for my P90X..I think I am going to have to put it on hold until Tuesday!! Thanksgiving weekend.. bubble guppies later, and a surprise sleepover for Peapea at Ate Kai's, and date night with my babe, and Hailey baby..woot!

She was first up, and impressed almost the entire crowd of parents ;)
I don't know if you can hear it, but a few parents mentioned how she set the bar high for the rest of the kiddies!

Pea's 3rd day at Dance class.. & Day 5 (P90X)
Pea was so excited last night & this morning for her third day at class. I had her dancing to, and listening to all sorts of songs & getting her to try and attempt some dance moves that she was watching on youtube (don't worry, no more twerking & booty shakin' for this cutie).
This morning tho, we woke up to our babies calling us to let them out..we usually leave their door open, before we call it a night (they have those safety knobs on their door)..and we got scolded by Peyton to try and remember to keep their door, "next time". After that, she asked, "guess what's tomorrow??" ..Daddy then corrected her, and said..you mean today? And she said, "Yeah! Guess what's today? ..DANCE CLASS!"
She was SUPER adorable, and I know I said no more videos, but I just have to show you all today's solo..
As for my workout today? Halfway through, I was on the verge of TEARS! Mind you, I was a bit uneasy, as my husband is home on the weekends, and he was in the room during today's workout.. so you can bet I felt EXTREMELY self-concious.. and a bit embarrassed every time I struggled. He tried to lighten the mood, by cracking a few jokes..but I was not having it.. I was too frustrated with myself, to give in.
Today, I had to work on more leg workouts, and different pull-up workouts (I used bands). I had to switch from legs, to pull-ups, a couple more legs, and another set of pull-ups. I was excited every single time I got to do a set of pull-ups, because it gave my legs a break. For some reason, my feet kept cramping, so it made my leg workouts, that much excruciating..and uncomfortable.
Anyhow, I pushed through the entire workout..and it's SO rewarding, knowing that I didn't give up. Also, it's MORE rewarding, knowing that I am putting myself through this program.. anytime I bring it up to anyone, they won't even consider it. It makes me proud that I'm even attempting it, making me feel like SUPERWOMAN..he..he.. It's not easy, and it's not a workout if it's easy, either. I hate this program, but I love it at the same time. Hooray! I swear, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is craving a challenge..I DARE YOU! :)

A little late..
Okay, so here is a video of what Pea's first day of class looked like! This will be the last video I will be sharing, since it'll be a spoiler if they start learning things for their dance recital! I will however share my favourite photos!

Pea's 2nd Day at Dance!
Welllll.. Pea had her second dance class yesterday, and she was ADORABLE! I had helped her during the week, and had her practice some of the moves I noticed she couldn't do at the time.. I could tell she was excited, and proud that she was able to dance with the class.. she also got lost in her own world..spinning, and spinning....and spinning. I'm SO proud of my Sweet PEA! I'd say she was the cutest little girl there..but you know, a mother is always biased when it comes between their own children and other children..ha..haa.
On the other hand, Hailey did much better sitting with us, during her Ate's (older sister's) class. I cannot wait to register her next year..hopefully she will have broken out of her shell!
